This is the introduction portion of "Fortitude" presented at the National Conference of Undergraduate Research at the University of Central Oklahoma. This segment utilizes a metaphorical embodiment of a warrior goddess in Hindu mythology to showcase female empowerment. The strength and courage she exhibits are used to tackle socially relevant issues such as bodily autonomy and sexual harassment.

This is the first half of "Fortitude" performed for the National Conference of Undergraduate Research at the University of Central Oklahoma. The segment shown here addresses the issue of sexual harassment, where a woman is inappropriately approached by her male boss. After rejecting his advances, he proceeds to create a hostile environment from which she is unable to escape. However, after the woman discovers that another friend of hers went through the same ordeal, she decides to ignore the potential repercussions and the two women report him.
